“ I have no idea about Hawaiian food, but the people who own the house where I rent do. He moved from the Philippines to Hawai'i as a child and she lived there for a couple of years, after they were married. They ordered many items, and as they are 80 and 77 years old, the person behind the counter was very patient and considerate. I ordered white rice and gyoza. We ordered everything to-go. The dining room has a few small tables and seemed okay. The menu was extensive and organized well. I had no problem reading it. When we arrived home and ate, it was an interesting experience. The gyoza weren't like any I'd ever had or made. The fillings were good enough, but not great. I tried one of the bao buns after hearing that they weren't great, and it was also good enough. The lady of the house said that the bao buns at Safeway were better. There wasn't anything really wrong, and I'm sure that they were hoping that the food was as good as any memory of great food. I'm betting it would have tasted better if we just ate right away, in the restaurant. ”
